God's plan for becoming a Christian:
1. HEAR the gospel of Christ
(Romans 10:13-17)
2. BELIEVE in Christ
(Mark 16:15-16)
3. REPENT of past sins(ACTS 2:36-47)
4. CONFESS faith in Christ
(Romans 10:9-10)
5. BE BAPTIZED into Christ (Acts 22:16; I Peter 3:21)
6. Live FAITHFULLY (Romans 12:1-2)
The church of Christ:
1. The Bible is its only guide(Romans 1:16;
I Thess. 2:13)
2. Wears a Biblical Name (Romans 16:16)
3. Established at the right place
(Isaiah 2:2, 3;Acts 2)
4. Established at the right time
(Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2)
5. Established on the right person(Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:36)
6. Saved are in it (Ephesians 5:23;
Acts 2:47)
7. Its members are enrolled in heaven(Hebrews 12:23)
8. Membership in it is obtained by obedience to God's commands including baptism(Acts 2:41-47; I Cor. 12:13)
"..and upon this rock I will build my church" (MT. 16:18)

We believe the various web sites linked from our web siteare written and maintained by sound Christians in the Lord's church. However, as with any religious information, we must study and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15), that which is taught to see if the positions presented are what the Bible teaches.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Tim. 3:16 (KJV)

Seek the Old Paths

Seek The Old Paths is a monthly publication of the East End Church of Christ in McMinnville, Tennessee, and is under the oversight of its elders. It is mailed FREE upon request. Its primary purpose and goal in publication can be found in the following passages:

    "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine"(2 Timothy 4:2).

"This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith" (Titus 1:13).

"But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1).

"Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth" (2 Peter 1:12).

 They have an excellent preacher by the name of Garland Robinson. We have benefited greatly from their work; through their newsletter "Seek the Old Paths".

Online Academy of Biblical Studies
This web site is, as the name implies, an online school for would-be preachers and serious bible students (which hopefully means all of us). All the previous semesters resources are available for viewing, including the video feed of the instructor teaching the class.

Additionally, the site is packed with prerecorded videos of Gospel Meetings and Debates (e.g. essentiality of baptism for salvation, on the existence of God and on the duration of miracles - to name a few). Click on Event Archives to view this content.

KJV Bible on the web
This site is nice for clipping verses into articles and such. I still verify the wording with my Bible as I am not sure who provided this resource; so far I have not found any discrepancies.
